Xander Berkeley, who played George Mason in the first two seasons of "24". He also played a scientist in "Ice", my favourite episode of "The X-Files", plus a traitorous CIA agent in "Air Force One".

He was also in "Terminator 2", in which he played John Connor's step-father. In the film he is killed when the T1000, disguised as John Connor's step-mother, impales him through the throat with an extending liquid metal arm. Funnily enough, during that scene, the T1000 was played by Jeanette Goldstein, who I met at the last LFCC.
