This was the final drawing of Sheba, and was the third attempt to get the shape of her head right. As I tore up the second attempt, I realised drawing human faces wasn't really apt preparation for drawing an animal one. I'm largely happy with this one, though I kept erasing the eyes and redoing them. Sheba's eyes are actually much darker, so that you can't see anything but the light glinting off them, but when I shaded them in as dark as her chin, it just looked like she had two holes in her head, empty eye sockets. Sheba's nose is also pure black, but I exaggerated the light reflecting off it as to provide some definition.
