If "Hudson’s Tale" was a response to the fanboys, then "The Prequel" is a response to the response to the original. This one’s even more divorced from the "Alien" universe, and I describe it as "Billy Elliot" meets "The Terminator", with the young Will Hudson learning he has a destiny not quite to his liking. Once again my detractors were split over whether I was homophobic or homosexual. Annoyingly, I had an excellent idea for a third and final Hudson story in the shower one morning, but promptly forgot it. It's coming back in dribs and drabs now, so I'll get round to that one day.
