The thing on the left is simply a wall panel, a piece of set dressing from the "Aliens" set.

The facehugger on the right is from the bit in "Aliens" where the recently arrived marines explore the abandoned complex and discover several of the parasites trapped in stasis tubes. In the film it was filled with water and lit up.
