By the time we got to the insect and spider house, all the children on schooltrips had gone home, so there was only this little toddler to be fed to the bird-eating tarantula. Unfortunately, members of the public weren't allowed to touch or hold the exhibits, even under supervision. Not sure whether that was for their safety or ours, though.
