“It must be just women he’s got a problem with,” she said.

“I think he found you attractive.”

Nita screwed up her face. “Dad!”

He laughed and went into the kitchen.

“What can I get you?” Nita asked the newcomers. There were two men, one in overalls, the other in a suit.

“Two coffees, please,” the older one said.

Nita poured their drinks and took a fiver off him. She gave him the fat guy’s tip as part of their change.

NOTES:
During the Tim chapter I didn't really have a direction in which I was going with Mike/Dean, he was just going to be a slightly dodgy character. But that was just from Tim's perspective. When I got to Dean's own section I was determined to make him completely repulsive, and public masturbation seemed as good a way as any to do it. When I had the idea that he could do it in a ladies public toilet, that did suggest somewhere to take it, hence Nita's supposition that it's just women he has an issue with. He might be a bit like the bigot in "American Beauty".
