I think the lines across his face (and I'm not talking about the big blue one) betray the fact that this photo, and indeed most of the photos in this gallery, is not a zoomed-in close-up of Stipey, but a zoomed-in close-up of one of the big screens erected in Hyde Park, closely cropped to hide the bright blue sky around it.
