Probably the favourite photo of London I managed to take, even if it is a little blurry. I think it was just before we turned round (which I didn't notice until I realised I couldn't see the river anymore), and we dipped quite low (though probably still several thousand feet) over Tower Bridge. You can see the Tower of London on the near side of the river; doesn't look so big from the air. That is HMS Belfast, scourge of the German navy in World War Two, in permanent mooring halfway between Tower Bridge and the next bridge along. I think that narrow white vertical strip in the top right corner is the Monument.
