I took Jenna for her first ramble in the English countryside and after experiencing rural congestion (two cars in ten minutes in a one-way winding country road) we cut across a field. I think there's an apocalyptic angle to this photo, the emptiness, the way the trees appear to shrink into the background, giving the impression of greater distance, when actually they're just smaller - but then, I can find an apocalyptic angle in pretty much anything.
