To be a quintessential English village you need a sells-everything little post office, a knows-everyone little pub, and a church. We didn't find a church in Lingwood, and had to walk for nearly an hour before we found this one in the middle of nowhere. It was shut, and the sign on the door said there were only services held there once every other Sunday.
