The grave of Edith Cavell at Norwich Cathedral. She was a nurse on the Western Front during the First World War who treated the wounded of both sides. When the German lines encroached on the field hospital where she was working, she stayed put, caring for troops even though she was now behind enemy lines. The Germans accused her of being a spy and shot her. We later saw some of her things on display in the Imperial War Museum.
