The rear view of King's College, Cambridge. This is a cropped shot, cutting out the river on the bank of which I am standing - though I saw it more as a moat. Most of the land around Cambridge city centre belongs to the colleges and to get to the back of King's College (which we did unintentionally) you have to walk two or three miles. Only students or extortionate fee-paying tourists can tread on the hallowed grounds of Cambridge University.
